Beyond Lyme Disease

Looks like Connie Strasheim is at it again.  I am so excited to read this book, let me tell you!  This is right up my alley and similar to what I have been focusing on since I stopped ILADS treatment for chronic Lyme disease.  I am so happy that someone with influence in our community took the time to right this book.  I have felt this way and have tried to help others to understand but I have been rejected, cast out, and turned away for having ideas other than KILL, KILL, KILL (killing spirochetes with antibiotics, etc).

Pick up this book.  I haven't got my copy yet, but from what I've read, this is the road.  Here is more info from the publishers site.  You can click the pic and be taken directly to the website.

So glad you are continuing to heal from Lyme and confections! Your statement about ILADs physicians hammering patients (kil, kill, kill) with antibiotics alone couldn't be more false. Connie S's previous book , highlighted the ways in which some of the above issues are addressed by some of the best Lyme practitioners in the world. There is no doubt that lifestyle factors, emotions, etc.. often (not always) have to be addressed to get well but there are layers to these complex illnesses, many of which require heavy duty antibiotics, antimalarials etc..
I know from my own very long, arduous journey with these illnesses that I have addressed many levels of my life and being, but I would not be well today if it weren't for tons of antibiotics for a very long time.

Sonya thank you for posting this.

I currently see a naturalpathic who deals with mold, enviornmental toxins, detox, adrenal fatigue etc etc and an great LLMD that DOES hammer with antibiotics only.

Even with both its SO hard to get well. I dont think I would have gotten half as well as I am without BOTH.

I love Connie's books and I can't wait to read this one! Anytime I've taken conventional antibiotics they've only made me worse and natural (herbal) antibiotics haven't made any difference at all. So I'm looking forward to reading Connie's take on the impact of adrenal fatigue, mold illness, etc.
